Lauren Ardis

Practice Manager

Lauren, a native of southern Illinois, moved to the Eastern Shore in 2004. Now the Hospital Manager, Lauren began her career with CAC in 2017 as a Client Service Representative. She has two daughters, Kimberly and Devon. Lauren and her husband Reggie have four dogs: A Jack Russel named Ollie, a Lab mix Kona, a hound mix Mia and a Rat Terrier named Ethel. She enjoys the beach, traveling, and spending time with her family, particularly granddaughter Raeleigh.

Leslie Childress

Inventory Manager

Leslie was born and raised in Fairhope and knows just about everyone. She is the go-to person for all questions having been in the veterinary field for 35 years. Currently Leslie is our Inventory Manager, but also regularly works as a Veterinary Nurse and Client Service Representative. Leslie is married to Wesley and has a son, Fuller. Their fur family includes, two Chesapeake Bay Retrievers Helena and Rush, a Chi-Pom mix Buster, and Nessie the Chihuahua.

Kim Ramey

Lead Veterinary Nurse

Kim began her veterinary journey in 2007 after retiring from a career as a hairdresser. From Cullman, Alabama, she is married to Blake and has two children, Seth and Sarah. Her pet family consists of a Pitbull named Kemba, a Yorkie-poo BeeBee, and two cats, Ham and LC. Now a Lead Veterinary Nurse, Kim has been with Dr. Morrison since 2013.

Lisa Uzelac

Lead Client Service Representative

Lisa, born in Gary Indiana, has lived in many places around the country and has two sons Isaac and Elliot. She has worked at CAC since 2007 and is our Lead Client Service Representative. Lisa has two Husky siblings Blue and Truffles, and four cats Bobby, Whitney, Chevy, and Wink the one-eyed cat. Lisa enjoys four-wheeling, family events, and reading.

Brooke Stewart

Kennel Manager

Brooke joined CAC in 2022 as a Kennel Assistant and is now our Kennel Manager. She previously worked at doggy daycare and is looking forward to expanding her knowledge in the veterinary field. She is one of six siblings and has five dogs, Pepper, Dixie, Chanel, Bo, and Turner. She enjoys photography, quality family time, and reading.

Kennedy Carnley

Veterinary Nurse, Care Coordinator

Kennedy was born and raised right here in Fairhope and has been with CAC since 2021. As a veterinary nurse, she has taken on the role of the clinic’s End of Life Care Coordinator. Kennedy is committed to ensuring every pet’s Rainbow Bridge journey is handled with compassion and dignity. Her pet family consists of Tiago, Sybil and Stella Luna (all cats), two Boykin Spaniels Goose and Maverick, an Arabian horse named Jumper, a quarter horse Layla, and a Wagyu Cow that goes by Alabama Belle.

Naomi Floyd

Veterinary Nurse

Naomi joined CAC in 2022 as a Veterinary Nurse and is enrolled in the Licensed Veterinary Technician program with Penn Foster. Naomi enjoys scuba diving in her spare time and previously worked as an Open Water Scuba Instructor in the Florida Keys. She has led and participated in many “Dive Against Debris” dives, removing hundreds of pounds of fishing line, abandoned fishing nets and other various trash within the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary. She also has 2 cats, Mortie and Stevie, “her girls.

Tiffany Kimball

Veterinary Nurse

Tiffany, born in Montgomery and the youngest of four siblings, began with CAC in 2022. Another of our Veterinary Nurses, she has three dogs, Copper, Heidi, and Harper. She enjoys reading Greek mythology and hopes to travel to Greece in the near future. Tiffany is interested in emergency veterinary medicine and plans a career working with animals.

Crystal Rockwell

Veterinary Nurse

Crystal joined CAC in 2021as a Kennel Assistant and is now a Veterinary Nurse. She has 2 dogs, Louis a Pitbull, and Scrub a terrier mix. Crystal is enrolled in the Licensed Veterinary Technician program with Penn Foster and is very passionate about working with all types of animals but has a huge love for Pitbull’s. If your pet has visited CAC, they’ve surely taken a selfie with Crystal.

Nicole Johnson

Veterinary Nurse

Nicole, Veterinary Nurse, joined the CAC family in 2016. Originally from Stamford, Connecticut, she and her husband Pat and daughter Ella Faye, stay busy with two German Shepherds Alex and Hobbs, a mini-horse named Pickles, and Taco the donkey. Nicole has only worked in the veterinary field, so obviously she is a huge animal lover.

Madelyn Gulsby

Veterinary Nurse

Madelyn joined CAC in 2019 as a Kennel Assistant. Now a Veterinary Nurse, Maddie is enrolled in the Licensed Veterinary Technician program with Penn Foster. She has a lab-Weimaraner mix named Wesson and enjoys the outdoors, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

Piper Reed

Kennel Assistant

Piper, also born and raised in Fairhope, joined CAC in 2022 as a Kennel Assistant. She has a cat named Billie Jean and 2 Bull Mastiffs, Moses and Jolie. Piper is a member of Fairhope High School’s dance team and has danced for most of her life. Piper will be attending Auburn in the fall and plans to study Veterinary Medicine.

Jackson Rambo

Client Service Representative

Our Client Service Representative, Jackson, also born and raised in Fairhope joined CAC in 2022. You may recognize him from his father’s business around the corner, Rambo’s Auto Service. Jackson also worked as an art coordinator in the film industry for over 8 years. He has two well-behaved and accessorized cats, Tegan Marie and Tatum, and enjoys spending time with family and friends

Sarah Grobe

Client Service Representative

Sarah moved to the Eastern Shore in 2010 with her family. She and her husband Austin have a Schnauzer named Mason, a Schnoodle named Moby, and Chi-Chi the cat. Sarah’s first job was here at CAC in the kennel, she rejoined us in 2022 as a Client Service Representative. Sarah enjoys dog walking, crafts, and spending time with family.

Sarah Carson

Kennel Assistant

Sarah, Kennel Assistant, is the one that makes sure your fur babies are taken care of and have fun during their boarding stay. She was born and raised on the Eastern Shore and joined CAC in 2018. Sarah and her husband Tanner have a Bloodhound Daisy, a Lab Leo, and a Doodle named Roscoe. They enjoy camping, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.
