Even though Lisa was born in Indiana, she has lived all over the country growing up with a college football coach Dad. Lisa enjoys her two boys, Elliot and Isaac, three and half dogs (half being Charlie Brown, sharing custody with Leslie Childress) and relaxing at the beach with the sun and sand with her family. Her son Elliot says she is very competitive with bowling.

Ellie Alewine

Born in Pittsburg, Ellie and her husband Mike have a son and two grandsons. After losing their 17 year old Maltese Millie, they opted not to get an “official” pet right now. They have an open door policy for the animals in the neighborhood that come over daily for a visit. Ryder, Sadie, Lucki, Ike, Belle and Bella know that they can go to cookietail time at the Alewine’s anytime, because after all, its’ 5:00 somewhere. One of Ellie’s neighbors commented how good her dog smelled when she came back home; Ellie had bathed her.

Besides co-parenting Charlie Brown with Lisa, she is married to Wesley and has a son, Fuller, who keeps her busy with his sports and snake hunting.

Warrior Cat

Zena, the Warrior Cat, came with the clinic when it was purchased in 2013. We estimate her age to be 13-14 years old. Zena is quite popular with our clients, sitting in her chair, calmly surveying her kingdom (aka, the front reception area). She enjoys any and all attention given to her from the human variety and controls the four legged variety with green piercing eyes, quickly putting them in their place. Zena has her picture in the BARC book, Premier Pets of Baldwin County. She also occasionally serves as a clinic blood donor.
